Memory Lane

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot - anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I remember I think it was the second time you called me and you said "This is Janean Rogers, I live up the street from you, Do you remember me?" I thought it was so funny because I had just met and talked to you a few days before. I guess you could tell upon meeting me that I don't have the best memory. I also remember one of the first times I met you, you were pregnant with Malorie and I asked you when you were due and you said "Oh I am due this week, so I won't have her until next week." I was surprised because I thought you were too small to be due, and that you probably had another month or two to go.

I remember when Colten wouldn't tell you that we were engaged so you called Dillard's where I was working and said "Congratulations!" I was a little shocked and said "Colten told you?" and then you said "No, but you just did."
I thought that was pretty good and the best part was that Colten didn't know until after we were married that he did tell you first.

Your peaches and cream is my favorite memory of you...you are like a total pro at making that and I have to say before I had yours the way we used to have them is just pour a little milk and add some sugar...never again, so thanks so much for showing me the REAL way to have peaches and cream, plus I am already craving it, when is peach season again? I hope really soon!!

I have so many memories of you but you probably don't want me to share them with everybody:) One of my earliest memories of you is when you would sit on the toilet when you were younger and would sing your little heart out. It was the funniest thing. You were always so care free and didn't care one bit what anybody thought about you.

I would have to say that my most favorite memory is when you would come to my house (in Spanish Fork) on your lunch break (when you worked in Orem) to play and hold Harrison when he was a newborn. I probably never told you how much that meant to me. I looked forward to your visits everyday.

I have alot of memories of you too. I was just telling Cynthia one today about when I would be in our room not facing you and you would call my name. When I turned around there were standing in all your glory naked as can be! I would yell at you and you would just laugh thinking it was so funny.

I vaguely remember doing that Carrie but it does seem a little familiar. I was really young though...this wasn't just yesterday or anything just so you all know. :)

I have tons of memores of you. But my favorite was when we were at your house one day sitting on the porch and you did your chicken thing where you were serious as can be and you would walk around like a chicken. I also loved riding around in your big yellow car and going over bumps really fast.

Also, I always remember you and your entire family letting me tag along to church with you. That meant a lot to me. I have always remembered that and how annoying that must have been for your parents, but it was one of the greatst things that ever happened in my life. Thank you so much for that! ;)

Haha! I could see you doing that to Carrie!;)
I remember when I went with you to clinique to get a makeover, as you decided you wanted to start wearing more makeup (good move. It looks good, Janean). I also remember when it was a day or so before Brett returned home from his mission, and you were really excited to see him, but were nervous about if he would feel the same way about you as he did before he left. It turned out just fine though (obviously)!

I remember meeting you for one of the first times when I was designing Melissa & Colten's wedding invitations. You were so helpful to her and I could tell you were very detail-oriented. I'm grateful Shannon introduced me to your entire family--you're great!

My memory of you is how relaxed you look spending time with your kids on your front porch. What a fun mom! I enjoy seeing your amazing photos. I love your blog!

I remember seeing you at church for the first couple of times thinking your girls are so cute and so dressed up. Then as time went on I wondered when you or your girls ever wear the same outfit. I am still watching so I can catch it. I also thought it was fun the first time you and Stephanie came to my house to "visit teach" We were able to vent about all the things we don't like...you know what I mean I think.
