Dance Competition

Whytli dances on a pre-team that is a beginners competition team for Esprit De Corps. She enjoys it and has had a great time this year. She has not complained once this year to go to dance and comes home in the best mood. She loves her teacher and the girls that she dances with. She had her first competition at Spanish Fork High School and did really well. She was not nervous at all and was excited to get out there and dance. They danced to the song "Holiday" by Madonna.

Pre-team dance girls.

Whytli with tons of makeup on. She doesn't look like herself.
She was really excited to wear a lot of makeup though.

Whytli and some of her friends that she dances with.

The girls practiced a couple of times before they went out there and did their dance for the judges.

Here is a video of Whytli doing her dance in front of the judges. She did very well and her class ended up taking 4th place, which isn't bad for being their first year doing competitions.

Birthday Celebrations with the Rogers

We got together with Brett's family for Kellen and Nash's birthday. Lacey made a delicious eclair cake and we had ice cream along with that. We ate the dessert outside and then gathered inside for the presents.

Nash hung out in his new wagon he got from me and Brett for his birthday.

Kellen had to help Nash open his presents because he still doesn't understand the whole present thing. He got a wagon that blows bubbles and sounds like a real lawnmower from Brett's family.

We all gave Kellen a gift certificate to Best Buy so he can buy himself some movies or something.

Nash's 1st Birthday

I cannot believe Nash is finally one year old. I have to admit it makes me really sad to know that he has turned the big one. It means that my baby is no longer a little baby. I have had a harder time with this birthday more so than any of my other kids. He has been a joy in our family. He is quite the handful but such a happy little boy. He is walking all over the place and has learned how to go up and down the stairs very well. He loves his sisters and gets very excited to see or play with them. I love this little guy so much and can't wait to see what a fun little toddler he will become.

He wasn't too excited to open his gifts so we had to help him a lot.

But once they were opened he loved them.

Some superman PJs.

He loves balls.

He wanted to help Brett and Mallory put his Diego bike together (or maybe he just wanted to destroy stuff).

He sure loved it once it was finished and we put him on it for a test ride.

His favorite of all the gifts was his new wagon.

He loves this thing and was super excited to play and ride in it!

He and Mallory were having a great time laughing and playing in the wagon.

He loved the balloon that I tied to his chair.

Not too sure what to think about that candle.

Do you want some Allan?

He was sharing his cake with his uncle Allan.

Yum! Ice Cream!

Here is a video of us singing Happy Birthday to him. He loves singing and always rocks back and forth whenever he hears singing or music.

One Year Pictures

Nash and Madison got their pictures taken together for their One Year Birthdays. They are cousins and are only three weeks apart. Lacey took them and they turned out really cute. I wish we would have had a video camera recording them trying to get them taken. They are both so busy and weren't too interested in sitting still. But I guess that is to be expected with one year olds. We weren't able to get very many of the two of them together because they were too busy exploring elsewhere. Nash was not very interested in the cake. I had to actually put his hand into the cake to get him to even eat it. But then when he would put the cake it into his mouth he would just spit like he thought it was gross. Madison on the other hand really enjoyed her cake. These are a few of my favorites of the two of them.
