Nash's Baby Blessing

On Sunday Brett gave Nash his name and blessing. We named him Nash Brett Rogers. It was a really nice blessing. Thankfully, Brett was able to do it. He got sick on Friday night and was sick all day Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday morning I asked my dad and Jeff to come give Brett a blessing so that he could feel better so that he could give Nash his blessing. He did end up feeling a lot better and was able to do it himself. If you can tell in the family pictures of us (which isn't that great) Brett's eyes do not look so great. You can tell he doesn't feel the best. Anyway, it turned out to be a great day. Brett's brother Bryce also blessed their son August on Sunday as well. However, we were not able to attend in the morning before ours due to Brett not feeling well and I was getting everything ready. We are truly sorry we were not able to attend but are happy that they could share the same day together. We had a lot of family and friends who came to the blessing. Afterwards we had a luncheon at my mom's house with all our family and friends. It was a great time had by all. We are so thankful to have Nash in our family and happy that he could get his official name and blessing on Sunday. As you can see in the second picture, his sisters really love him too. They just can't get enough of him.
