Jump-A-Thon - Top Jumper in 2nd Grade

Today was the Jump-A-Thon at Whytli's school. She has been anticipating this for a while now. She loves to jump rope and has been practicing for days. At the school they have each class do a jump-off and only two kids from each class get to go on to the big school competition. Whytli and another girl were the winners of their class. Then later in the afternoon each grade (and their winners from each class) get to compete against everyone (including some teachers). Whytli was the 1st place winner for the entire second grade and she got a trophy. She was so happy! When she came home from school she was extremely excited to tell me all about it and show off her trophy. The trophy says, "Top Jumper 2nd Grade." It was a dream come true for Whytli! I am so proud and happy that she won. She was overly excited about this whole Jump-A-Thon and honestly I didn't really think she would get to be in the competition because there are so many kids she had to compete against so she definitely surprised me and I am very proud of her. Good job Whytli!
