Mother's Day Morning

I had the best Mother's Day ever - my kids and Brett made sure of it. It started out on Saturday. My only request from Brett was that he pull all the weeds in the flower garden and make the yard look good and I wanted my drinking fountain (from last Mother's Day) finally hooked up. Well he spent all day Saturday making sure that everything was done and it was sooo nice to have it looking good - it needed a major cleanup. And I love that I finally have the drinking fountain all hooked up and running. On Sunday, when I first got up I jumped in the shower and while I was in there Whytli decided to make me breakfast. She did it all by herself too. She knows that I am not a huge fan of breakfast but she knows the few things that I do like and just how I like them and she got it exactly right. She made me toast, eggs, and orange juice. It was delicious and she did a great job! She also picked some flowers in the yard and put them in a vase and had the table set with the vase sitting next to my spot. They kept saying that they needed to make sure to be extra good today so that the day was very special for me and they did a great job.

During Relief Society all the men in the ward took over all the organizations and taught and the bishopric served all the women yummy cheesecake and we just sat around visiting with all the ladies in our ward. It was really nice. After church my kids brought up all their gifts and cards that they had made for me. They were all so cute and they did such a good job. I just love how excited they get about giving me things that they have put a lot of time into. They were all so sweet and made everything so perfect. I am so glad to have such a wonderful little family and great husband!

I am eating my wonderful breakfast that Whytli made for me.

Opening all my cute little gifts and cards that the kids made for me.

These are some cute little flower bouquets that the girls made at Activity Days.

Whytli gave me this box with her ipod, a box she made with some mints of hers, tape, glue and a note inside. It said: Mom, Happy Mother's Day! Me, you and dad are going to share the ipod. Whenever you want it just tell me and I'll give it to you. Please return the box to me. Love, Whytli P.S. I found the tape and glue in my room. I just wanted to return them. I love you!

So cute and funny! What a great gift! :)

These are the cards they made in church. They had to fill in the blanks with their own answers.
